Each year, Penn State recognizes outstanding faculty and staff with annual awards in teaching and excellence. These awards highlight many of the faculty and staff who go above and beyond.
The twice-yearly Career Expo provides opportunities for Penn State Abington students and alumni to network with businesses, including Fortune 500 companies, for internships and full- and part-time positions.
“Penn State Abington helped me fall in love with my accounting major because of the amazing faculty and staff that were always there for me if I needed support,” Shana Bowers, a 2019 Abington graduate, said.
Penn State has been recognized as the top U.S. producer of faculty Fulbright Scholars for 2019-20 by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. In addition, the University is listed as a top producer of student Fulbright recipients.
Penn State students, faculty and staff can participate in free online workshops that cover Penn State’s new Open Access policy as well as copyright issues and funder policies for public access to research.
You need both hands to count the number of committees, commissions and boards on which Patrick Bampfield has served. And if you add his part-time job and his studies in corporate communication at Penn State Abington, you’ve filled out that second hand and then some.
